Shoe care continues after purchase
Different materials and uses require different care. We have prepared basic guidance for leather footwear, Gore-Tex footwear, waterproofing and cleaning, and post-warranty service.

Leather shoe care
Leather benefits from regular cleaning, drying and suitable treatment.
After use, remove coarse dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. Clean heavily soiled footwear gently and avoid unnecessary soaking.
- Allow the shoes to dry naturally at room temperature.
- Do not dry them directly on a radiator or near a strong heat source.
- Apply a product suitable for the specific type of leather to clean, dry footwear.
- Test any new care product on a less visible area first.
Always follow the care instructions for the specific footwear model and product used.

How to care for Gore-Tex
For membrane footwear, gentle upper cleaning helps maintain breathability.
Remove dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. Take out the insoles and allow the footwear to dry thoroughly and naturally.
- Avoid aggressive cleaners unless they are specifically intended for membrane footwear.
- For reproofing, choose a product suitable for footwear with a breathable membrane.
- Avoid excessive use of greasy products that may affect the properties of the upper material.
- Also follow the instructions for the specific footwear model and care product.

Waterproofing and cleaning
Clean footwear is easier to waterproof, and regular maintenance helps protect the upper material.
First remove mud, dust and other dirt. Apply the waterproofing product only to a suitably prepared surface and according to the product instructions.
- Choose a product suitable for the upper material.
- Follow the recommended application distance, amount and drying time.
- Renew waterproofing according to use intensity and the current condition of the footwear.
- Test the product on a less visible area first.
An unsuitable product may change the appearance or properties of the material, so always check its intended use.

Post-warranty service
It is worth checking whether your favourite footwear can be repaired instead of immediately replaced.
If your footwear is out of warranty and needs repair, contact us with a description of the issue and, ideally, photographs. Depending on the model and extent of damage, we will check the available options.
- State the footwear model and approximate age.
- Describe what needs to be repaired.
- Attach photographs of the damaged area and the whole shoe.
- Wait for confirmation of the next steps before sending the footwear.
Repair options always depend on the model, parts availability and the nature of the damage.
